I have an external drive that now all of a sudden can't be accessed. Windows shows it's icon as a simple blank page. It's still has it's drive name and letter. When I try to open it, I get 'Location is not available. E; is not accessible. Access is denied.' I can't even do the error checking tool from the properties window, getting an unable to access error.
Since file recovery came up in some Google searches, I tried downloading Recuva. And I'm actually able to browse through the drive in question to select a location to scan..
Is it possible to get to my files again?
The USB drive is a 500GB Seagate FreeAgent Go Flex.
I have Windows 10.
Tamil hd video songs. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Hello, I downloaded a Windows 7 Home Premium ISO onto my 32GB USB and it kept saying 'Error access to the device is denied' when I tried to press start using a program called 'Rufus'.
I searched online to see if anyone had the same problem as me but I couldn't find much but I found this thread: http://www.reddit.com/r/techsupport/comments/16cbf5/cant_create_bootable_usb_have_a_windows_7_iso/ which is like 2 years old but I followed the instructions of one of the posters named 'Sezhe' and everything worked fine except now I don't know what to do.. After I clicked exit, the ISO file was gone from the USB and I don't know what I'm supposed to do next. Could anybody help me please?
I also want to add that before I did all of this, I tried using a different USB but the exact same problem on Rufus happened.
Thanks.

(4 posts)
Hi, when I try to open my USB Flash drive I get the following message: E: 'Access Denied'. How can I regain access to my Flash Drive?
Thanks
right click on the START icon, select explore all users, navigate to your USB stick in the left column, and you should be able to open it. alternatively go to RUN type E: and press enter.
